Become a member

Becoming a member contributes to the reach of Biodanza, and brings several benefits and ways to take part.

  • Participant member

    $40per year

    For anyone who practises Biodanza or wishes to support the association.

    • Right to vote at the general assembly
    • Discounts on ABC activities
    • Participation in the association’s circles

    Open to all.

  • Associate member

    $30per year

    For those training in Biodanza, or facilitating it.

    • Everything the participant member receives
    • Their weekly classes listed in the calendar
    • Their Discovery and Open House sessions in the calendar and the newsletter

    Student in a Biodanza school, or facilitator. Valid for at most five years after enrolling, or two years after completing the methodology. The school may be asked to confirm.

  • Professional member

    $130per year

    For practising facilitators.

    • Everything the associate member receives
    • Their workshops and special activities listed and circulated
    • Group-rate general liability insurance
    • The ABC’s promotional tools and Canva account

    Trainee, titular or didactic facilitator.

From August 1, 2026 to July 31, 2027

How to join

Fill in the form for your category. A copy is emailed to you, with payment instructions. Membership takes effect once payment is received — Interac transfer or cheque.

Online payment will be added to this page as soon as the association’s payment account is open; the steps above remain valid until then.

What the association expects from a professional member

  1. Meeting the deadlines for sending activities to the ABC webmaster.
  2. Using the “Featured with the ABC” template to submit activities.
  3. Holding the rights to the images submitted, or using only images that are formally free of rights.

The association

Association Biodanza Canada

Association Biodanza Canada was the first association of its kind to be created in North America, in 2006. As a non-profit organization, ABC has the mission to develop and promote Biodanza across the country.

The Association is managed by a Board of Directors, which is made up of six members who are elected at the Annual General Meeting.
